This is pretty cool, man! Feel free to message me if you're ever in a mood to do a planned collab.
I think there could be some more work on the vocal mix, though. If you want, I could fix that.

Apart from that; It's fun to hear some vocals on one of my tracks. Liked and faved!

Take care, and keep it up!

No problem, man. Yeah, I'll always be trying to find better ways of Mixing my vocals; so any advice you might have would be great. I'll hit you up sometime for sure!

These vocals are giving me goosebumps. This stuff is so damn coolio.
One thing I would've done something about if I were you is to pitch the drum samples a bit. Without any pitching one clearly hears the monotony of the commonly used FL samples that you've included in the song. Other than that I really dig the mix and everything.

Keep up the good work!

very happy to know that a vocaloid gave you goosebumps

I totally dig the percussive feel of this song. One think I'm not so in love with, though, is the string samples. Not sure what VSTs you used to make this track, but I'd recommend using something like Philharmonik or East West SO Gold. Super nice stuff.

Other than that: Interesting track, nice mix (although a little rough around the edges), and percussively compelling.

Faved and followed!

Keep 'em coming!

Dude. This... Is too god damn sweet. Really dig your stuff! I'm in love with the crisp mix. Even though dubstep may be kind of a narrow genre to some people, you've really brought forth your own sound, which is a GREAT accomplishment.

I don't really have any criticism to share, since this track is already so well produced.

Faved and followed on both NG and SoundCloud!

Take care, and keep the good work up!

EasyEvil responds:

Thank you so much for the kind words. They mean so much :)

This is pretty dang funky. I love the mix, but as RealFaction said; you might need a little more low-end on the bass line. Apart from that, this track is great.

Subbed and faved!

Thanks so much, Kabalist!

Clearly you have everything going structurally. I really dig the soft intro. The high frequencies of the secondary trumpetish synth almost gives me goose bumps.

The only thing that I'm slightly concerned about is the drums and the clipping of some synths. Maybe that's just "what this is supposed to sound like" (which I hear a lot of people say), but I think that it would be of your benefit to fatten the drums and bring them a little closer to the front of the mix, or else I'm afraid you'll lose a whole lot of potential pressure. If I listen to an electronic track I either want to be kicked in the face or have a nice moment of relaxation. This song is stuck somewhere in the middle and doesn't seem to know where it wants to go.

I like the overall musical structure, but unfortunately the song grows old pretty fast when nothing ever evolves during the play time.

Keep it up, man. Go ahead and message me if you ever remix the song!

Take care.

Yes-eye responds:

Thank you very much! I needed that. So, it's not what it supposed to sound, i will work on it.

Interesting approach on the world of *insert any word here*-step. I like the sense of experimentalism that you've applied to this type of electronic music. Me likey a lot.

Thoughts:

The mix is overall pretty clean, in a dirty way. The musical structure is unfortunately not very interesting. I'd suggest separating verse from chorus (if those sections even exist in this submission), so that the listener is actually brought somewhere instead of just running at square one. I'm not the kind of guy who enjoys listening to a basic rythm supported by dissonance throughout an entire track, but I guess I'd enjoy it a whole lot if ever high at a rave party.

I don't feel that there is more to comment on, except for the structure of the song. Apart from that; Nicely done!

Take care!

NoHost responds:

Glad you like the track however this rhythm is not basic.

I have modulated three different sets of basslines, drum kits and atmospheric FX in one track.
Strange how that constitutes as basic when you primarily produce dubstep which is very basic.

Don't see how being high would allow you to enjoy this more but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.
Just because you are unfamiliar with a style of dnb doesn't mean that it is experimental.

Darkstep is subgenre of dnb that has been overshadowed by jump-up and liquid subgenres.
It has been around since the roots of jungle became popular in the early 90's.

I'm sure that I could dig to this if I were high or atleast intoxicated by some form of chemical stimuli. The overall choice of synths is pretty sterile in a way that turns this track into something that sounds much like one of those poorly produced dance-mixtapes, which might be enjoyable in a sense of nostalgia which I am sadly, in the case of some electronic music, not very attached to.

The mix itself is not too bad. I kind of dig the thumpy sound of the bassdrum, but that's still nnot enough to compensate for repetetive melodies and dry concept of the song. (Man, I'm sorry for sounding like a big bucket of douchery about it), but this is just my opinion.

Due to what I wrote about the mix in the middle paragraph, I'm giving this 2/5. Hope to see something musically new from you! Keep the good work up, and don't let my harsh criticism kill you ;)
I also faved you for the sake of having you gain some publicity.

Take care!

Pretty cool. I kind of envy the very organic-sounding dub lead you've got there. Nice build up melody. The only thing I think you should do something about is probably the base mix of the piano and some synths. A little EQ here, and a little compression there, then I'd consider it complete.

Keep the good work up!

//K.

This is amazing. Really dig the style, it's so organic. Keep it comin'!

Faved, 5 stars!
