Digged the intro. Although, I'm not very sure that this is dubstep.
Nice mix, anyways!

This is so dope.

The violin work was super cool, and I really dig your approach to the sfx.
The only thing I'm somewhat concerned with is the bass drum, and the all too commonly used Sytrus "growl" effect.

My advise: fatten the shit out of the bass drum, and (in my opinion) you should probably replace the growl with something that sounds a bit more original. That way you'll make the song sound more like something that YOU came up with. It's really difficult to establish your own sound, but once you start experimenting a bit, you might eventually find yourself walking musical grounds that no man has ever tread before.

The last part might be a bit over the line, but I think the mix could be improved, that's my point.

This stuff is definitely worth a follow! Keep it up!

CreaperX responds:

Thanks,
No sytrus though, it was Harmor or Nexus, can't recall :P

Pretty cozy vibe going on here. Definitely worth a follow!

Keep it up!

Clerik responds:

Thanks for the feedback! Your productions sound very clean, i like :). Do you use ozone for mastering?

Now this is what I'm talking about! The composition is very nice overall, but I think you should refine the mix and quality of your chosen instruments by using other vsts. I recommend EWQLSO or Philharmonik, that's what I've fallen in love with at least.

Even though I'm kind of ticked off by the instruments, you did a great job on the writing-part, so 4/5 for you!

You got yourself a fave and follow on NG and Soundcloud!

Keep up the good work!

SteveSyz responds:

Thanks a lot! I too agree that the instrument quality isn't where its supposed to be but once I get an external hard drive, ewql libraries are mine to use :D who knows, maybe i might replace the instruments in the future! thanks again :D

There is so much dissonance in this song. I have no idea what that baseline is all about.
Also, you should probably familiarize yourself with the mixer if you want to produce music for video games.

I can't give any tips on how to be a better musician, since good musicianship kind of comes from within, but you should try making something more listenable.

This just isn't my cup of coffee.

Plab responds:

It's dissonant on purpose, I wanted to try something new, my other tracks are less dissonant :)

I suggest you download some better vsts so that the track is more listenable.
Go get yourself EWQLSO Gold Edition, and/or Philharmonik. You'll thank me!

Nice contest idea, though!

DESHIEL responds:

I'm kinda low on budget so I hope that it doesn't cost much lol xD

Now this is soothing. Kind of repetitive after a while, but it's cool idea.
Not a big fan of the lyrics though, mainly because they're kind of lame.

Keep it up

Thank you for your feedback. EricK717

GLaDOS called. She wants her core back.

Really though, I'm a fan of both death metal and dubstep, and I bet this could be somewhat cool if you do it right.

DHansen90 responds:

lol. i just did it fo the heck of it. to see if i could. mixing and everything sucks. hahaha

Oh god. I'm sorry, but this was just plain awful. Not trying to be a douche here, but I think the best thing you could do with this song is delete it forever and start anew.

Cacola responds:

Well thanks for not telling me that you didn't like it without telling me WHY you didn't like it.
Seriously, how do you expect me improve if you just say "This sucks you're doing this wrong" without telling me what I did wrong!
Now it's ok if you didn't like the song, and it's ok if you leave a negative review pointing out the flaws of the song, but just saying it was "plain awful" and pretty much nothing else is kinda douchey.
Now that being said, thanks for taking your time to listen and review my music. And I can see why someone wouldn't like this, it's my first real Game Grumps remix, so it's not gonna be anything amazing, but if you're going to leave a negative review, try to be more helpful and constructive in the future.

I could totally listen to this whenever I need to relax. Pretty cool, man.
Although, the buzzing noise kind of distorted the song as a whole, in my opinion. That's something that could be improved.

Anyways, you've got yourself a fan! I could use more music like this in my life.

Take care, and keep it up!

//K.

Azhthar responds:

Glad you like it ;) Do you mean the clicking with buzzing noises? It should be meant like there is somethings busy going on in the forest. But maybe I think about taking this out...
